In accordance with the NACD, NSS-CDS, TDI and other recognised technical diving schools the cavern and cave diving courses consists of three steps:

Cavern diving courses are recommended to those who do not have enough time, money, experience to complete a full cave diving course and to those who do not want to get too much into cave diving but would like to know more about this part of diving. The requirement of enrolling is the advanced diving qualification, perfect bouyacy controll and water safety. This means at least 50-100 dives for most of the divers. The course can be completed within 4 days, it consists of a theoretical training and 4 cavern dives. 528 usd


The participants shall get a NACD Cavern Diver licence, which will enable them to dive in the entrance (cavern) area of the caves independently and safely.

The next step is the Introduction to Cave Diving course. It provides basic training for the cave environment and improves the technique of the diver. The course can be completed in three days, it consists of theoretical training and cave dives. The participants get a NACD Intro to Cave Diving qualification.

Course can be taken together with the Cavern Diver Course or having already the Cavern certification, you can save some time.

The third step is the Full Cave Diver course. The requirement for the course is at least 100 dives in various conditions, rescue diver qualification, perfect floating ability and water safety, excellent physical fitness, being free of claustrophobia or vertigo.
There is a lot of theoretical knowledge to acquire, exercises and dives in confined water and in caves too, which an experience diver can complete in 7-10 days. The diver completing the course shall get the NACD Full Cave Diver qualification. 1500 usd including the cavern and the intro courses.

Like in case of the open-water course you will be able to dive safely in such conditions in which you have completed the course. The rest is all the question of practice.
