Cancún is located at the North-East corner of the Yucatán Peninsula, on the shores of the Caribbean in South-East Mexico.

Its climate is half-tropical, the average temperature is 27°C. The winter months are the most pleasant ones, from mid December to mid March. The humid, hot summer is practically unbearable for those who are not used to such conditions. Autumn is windy, unpredictable and rainy.
